How to forward calls on Optus
To forward the calls you can't answer on Optus, dial **004*NUMBER#, with NUMBER as the number to forward to. One code covers busy, no answer and unreachable. To turn it off, dial ##004#.

Replace NUMBER with the number you're forwarding to, then press call after each code.

- Use the full number you're forwarding to, with the area code if it's a landline.
- Optus lets you choose how long a call rings before it diverts: 5 to 30 seconds, in 5-second steps.
- You can also manage diversions in the My Optus app.
Away overseas and want every call forwarded? Dial **21*NUMBER#, and ##21# to stop.
Check it worked
- After each code, look for a message on screen such as "Service was activated". The wording depends on your phone.
- Ring your mobile from another phone and let it ring out. It should go to the number you set.
- Put your phone in flight mode and ring it again. It should go straight to the number you set.
