How it works
Connect Xero once and every invoice you send from Tradies Line flows through it automatically.
Sending an invoice
When you send an invoice and Xero is connected, it is created in Xero as an approved invoice. Xero then emails it straight to your customer.
Paying online
If you have set up online payments in Xero yourself, through Stripe or GoCardless, the emailed invoice carries a pay-now button. If you have not, it is a standard invoice.
Getting paid
When your customer pays in Xero, the invoice is marked paid there and the job completes in Tradies Line on its own. No chasing, no updating it by hand.
Marking it paid yourself
Mark an invoice paid in Tradies Line and we record that payment back in Xero too, so both sides agree.
Tax rates
Tax is applied automatically based on how your Xero account is set up. There is no tax mapping for you to do.
Which plan you need
Xero works with Tradies Line on Teams and Enterprise. It is not part of Solo.

Common questions
Does Tradies Line take the payment?
No. Your customer pays through Xero, using whatever payment method you have connected there yourself. Tradies Line never handles the money.
Can I send quotes through Xero as well?
No. The Xero integration covers invoices only.
What if I need to cancel an invoice?
Void it in Tradies Line and Xero updates to match, or void it in Xero and Tradies Line picks that up.
What plan do I need for Xero?
Xero works with Tradies Line on Teams and Enterprise. It is not available on Solo.
